MSNBC is reporting that faint signals were possibly detected from the Mars Polar Lander after scientists reviewed radio data received at the 45-meter radio dish at Stanford University. They are following up with a test to try to determine if MPL is truly communicating, though calling it a "long shot." Even if it turns out to be MPL, there isn't much hope of relaying scientific data, but this may help scientists determine what went wrong. Interesting read!
